What inspired you to join the Common Woman Chorus?

Being able to sing; community; politics

In what ways has being part of the Common Woman Chorus influenced your personal identity and sense of belonging within the LGBTQIA+ community?

It's been a great way to belong, and know that I belong - especially as a single person right now, after 34 years of partnerships.

Can you share a favorite memory from your time in the chorus that had a significant impact on you?

Ooh... the Stonewall 50th anniversary concert

What advice would you give to the next generation of LGBTQIA+ singers interested in joining our chorus?

Speak your truth; live your life in the way YOU want to live it. Life is short! And join the chorus!
